Roosa
I don’t want to be categorized as a vain and shallow woman. A woman that invests in her looks can come across with stereotypes where she is only determined by her external qualities and is seen as extravagant and fulfilled by her own ego without anything thoughtful inside.
Vanity is often seen to convey intellectual incompetence and the woman’s interests are not expected to be further than in her own reflection and the substances gathered to cherish that image. As the looks are emphasized, the esprit is expected to be left secondary. But who in these thin thoughts are the shallow ones in the end? Looks can be an extension of the personality, but not the measure of it. The thoughts and the values can be overtaken by discussion and listening, not by gazing.
